This original oil painting portrait is of a horse called Louie, painted in oils on canvas, strung and ready for hanging.

I'm privileged to live in a beautiful part of the UK - West Sussex. Close enough to towns and cities but on the door step of the countryside - close to the South Downs and the Ashdown Forest. Consequently many friends are keen horse lovers which gives me ample opportunity to draw and paint their horses. Not having grown up with horses, I love the challenge to draw these beautiful beasts - it encourages me to continually examine every mark I make to get them just right.

The painting will come safely packaged flat, signed on the back, with accompanying certificate of authentication. Please allow 1-5 days for shipping.
